Grade Calculator

Learn how to estimate your final grade using the grade calculator.

The grade calculator can be used to students estimate their grades, to earn their desired final grade. There are two different ways a grade can be calculated, by entering the overall grade or by entering scores for individual assignments.

Things to know:

  • When the grade calculator is active, ungraded items appear as empty boxes.
  • Only assignments that are both weighted and ungraded can be estimated.
Tip

If you do not see the grade calculator at the top of the page select VIEW CLASS PROGRESS.

How to estimate assignment grades.

  1. In the side panel menu, select Content.
  2. At the top of the page, select GRADE CALCULATOR.
  3. Choose Calculate based on a grade I enter.
  4. Enter the desired overall grade.
  5. The scores needed will display next to each assignment.
  6. When finished, select DONE to close the calculator.

How to estimate an overall grade.

  1. Click GRADE CALCULATOR.
  2. Click Calculate based on values I enter.
  3. Enter the anticipated grade for each assignment.
  4. Click CALCULATE.
  5. Click DONE.
