File Types
Understand what file types and sizes are accepted in the LMS.
The LMS allows you to upload several different types of files. The accepted file types may be slightly different for your institution. This topic covers the file size limit, which files types can be uploaded in which areas, and provides some troubleshooting tips.
File Size Limit
Max Size: 4GB per file
You can upload multiple files with individual sizes up to the max file size.
Uploading Files
The following file types can be uploaded to assignments, comments, and feedback using the attach file button or Drag and Drop areas.

Tip
Folders can be uploaded, but they must be compressed first.
Embedded Media
The following file types can be inserted in text areas using the image, video, and audio buttons in the text editor. These files when uploaded with the text tools will show in line with the other content. Video and audio files will show the media player.

Website Sources
Resources from the following sites and services can be embedded using an iframe code. If you have trouble with your iframe displaying, check to make sure that the content permissions are set correctly and that the iframe does not include any script or other CSS style.
