Profile & Settings

Learn about your profile and account settings.

Instructors and students all have their own profiles. Your profile includes the information you, information to share with others, and your account settings. Taking the time to set up your profile can help you connect with your class. In this topic, we will explain how to view and modify your profile and what others see when viewing your profile.

Viewing your profile:

  • From any page click on your icon in the top right corner.
  • From the side panel, select People then click an individual’s photo or name.
  • When you see a profile photo, hover over or tap it, then select View Profile from the popup.

Profile Content

There are four main sections to the profile: profile information about you, contact information, notification settings, and timezone. In this section, we will review the items in each and what they are used for.

Things to know:

  • Profile updates are saved immediately.
  • Your university email is displayed to everyone who views your profile.
